About Sarah
From a young age, I understood the power of community and the natural world around us. Growing up in Ireland and later working in Europe, I saw firsthand how much further ahead other regions were in conservation, innovation, and social impact. That perspective fuels my passion today: helping nonprofits here in Canada strengthen their capacity to serve, steward, and inspire.

With more than a decade of experience in philanthropy and fundraising—and an MBA from University College Dublin—I founded SDK Consulting to support organizations in building the systems and strategies they need to thrive. Clients often describe my work as transformative: bringing clarity to complex processes, sparking innovation in donor engagement, and ultimately helping them connect more deeply with their supporters.

Beyond my consulting practice, I am deeply committed to leadership roles that reflect my values. As Advocacy Chair for the Women’s Leadership Council, I champion initiatives that empower women entrepreneurs and leaders in my community. As a Board Member of the Fraser Valley Conservancy, I lend my skills and voice to protecting and restoring the natural environment we all depend on. These roles keep me grounded in the issues that matter most: equity, sustainability, and community resilience.
